Most of those basic lamps aren’t actually built for a steam-filled room. They let moisture seep into the housing, which fries the electronics or burns out the filament way faster than it should. If you’re installing a few of these, they pull a lot of power. You’ll want a dedicated circuit so you aren’t tripping your breakers every time you want a warm shower. And a quick heads-up: infrared works like a flashlight. If you can’t see the heater, you won’t feel the heat. If you hide it behind a shower curtain or a wall, it’s useless.
