Inside, a high-output halogen tube throws infrared energy straight onto you, your crew, and your gear. No fuss. No waiting for air to warm. Just immediate, focused heat that gets the job done—even when the wind is howling or the shelter is wide open.
The Power Behind the Warmth
The heart of it is a serious little tube: 2500W, running at 400V. We chose a higher voltage because it keeps the current lower, which is easier on the wiring and the contactors. And the tube itself? It’s just 300mm long, packing a ton of power into a small footprint. That means you get intense heat without needing a giant, bulky housing. Perfect when space is tight and you need serious output in a compact heater.
Built to Last, Easy to Fix
We use a quartz halogen tube with a reflective coating. That coating does two things: it focuses the infrared energy forward, and it shields nearby parts from getting too hot. The connection is an R7s bi-pin end-cap. It’s simple, solid, and does exactly what it needs to—lock the tube in place and carry the full electrical load. When it’s time to swap out a tube, it’s a quick, no-nonsense job. Back on the shop floor, that kind of simplicity matters.

In winter tents, this setup shines. The heat comes on fast, with almost no warm-up time.
