Introduction
We built this electric heater to be something different. It’s a compact halogen lamp, made for the real world of industrial machines. The whole point? Give you fast, focused heat exactly where you need it—without wasting energy on a slow warm-up or heating up the whole room.
The Power Behind It
Here’s the quick version: it runs at 2500W on 400V. That combo is what gives you serious heat from a surprisingly small package. So when you’re squeezing a heater into a tight spot on a machine, you can still get the temperature where it needs to be. And at 300mm long, it fits neatly into a lot of the spaces you’re already working with—like machine cavities and barrel heaters.
What It’s Made Of
We wrapped it in a quartz tube with a halogen fill, then added a reflective coating. That coating keeps the infrared energy pointed forward, where it’s supposed to go. Less stray heat. Better energy use. And for the connection, we went with an R7s connector. It’s a proven, quick-fit terminal that makes wiring a simple job. It stays solid, too, even when the machine is vibrating.
How It Feels on the Job
This heater is a straight-up, drop-in replacement for a lot of standard industrial heating spots. You turn it on, it hits heat fast. Then it holds steady, which helps keep your cycles moving without waiting around. One thing to keep in mind: with 2500W packed into this size, you need to plan for airflow and thermal management. Size your cooling accordingly, and you’ll be good to go.
