We built the Sunlike infrared heater to be a straight-up workhorse. It’s all about packing a ton of power into a small footprint. Running on 400V, it pulls some serious current, which is how we cram all that wattage into a short, 300mm quartz tube. The result?A ton of heat density in a tiny package. But that also means your wiring and control gear need to be up to the task. Rated at 2500W, this thing gets hot fast. We’re talking rapid temperature rise, so you can hit your target temps quickly and keep your cycle times short when you’re under pressure.
The design that holds up in the real world
Inside, it’s a halogen-filled, shortwave infrared design, all wrapped up in a quartz envelope. This keeps the element screaming hot while delivering a stable output. The whole build is tough, resisting thermal shock and handling repeated on/off cycles way better than those bare-wire elements. And for the connection, we went with the R7s double-ended connector. It’s industrial, it’s reliable. It locks in solid, handles the high current, and makes for an easy, drop-in replacement in your existing fixtures.
Where it shines—and what to keep in mind
This is the heater you reach for when you need focused, fast heat. It’s perfect for things like heating plastic, curing coatings, or drying components.
