Getting Semiconductor-Grade Heat Without the Big-Brand Price Tag
In semiconductor manufacturing, staying lean on costs doesn’t mean you can cut corners when it comes to heat. It means finding a lamp that brings the heating power of the big names—without the big-name price. We built our semiconductor infrared lamps to do exactly that. You get serious performance, and you get it at a factory-direct cost. It’s how you get a solid return, with heat that’s controlled and a setup that just works.
Let’s Talk Power, Voltage, and Size
We designed these lamps to get hot, fast. The standard setup runs on 400V, pulling 2500W of power, all packed into a 300mm tube. That combination is all about hitting your target temperature quickly, especially when you’re working with tight process windows. It’s exactly what you need for heating and curing wafers. The 300mm length keeps the heat focused where you need it, so you waste less energy and save space in the machine. But here’s the thing: that kind of concentrated power puts out a lot of heat. Your surrounding equipment has to be ready for it. Make sure your cooling and insulation are up to the task, or you risk cooking the components nearby.
What’s Inside: The Build That Takes the Heat
We use a quartz envelope with a high-temperature coating. Why? Because it keeps the emissivity stable, even after countless heating and cooling cycles. The coating helps lock the heat into the right wavelength, so your results stay consistent and you don’t get energy drift during long runs. Inside, a halogen fill gives you steady infrared output and a much faster response than old-school resistive elements. You can ramp the heat up or down without that lag. And for the connection, we went with an R7s two-pin connector. It’s a proven, simple design that makes wiring a breeze. It means you can swap out a lamp in minutes, not hours, so your maintenance downtime stays short.
Built for the Shop Floor, Not the Showroom
These lamps are made for semiconductor work, where precision, repeatability, and speed are everything. The high heat density gets you up to temperature quickly without overshooting, and the compact size fits into those tight chambers without a major redesign. We sell direct, so you skip the middleman markup. But you’re still getting a tough, reliable build that can handle the grind of the production line. The trade-off is straightforward: you’re getting a lot of heat in a small package. That means your machine’s cooling system has to be on point. Get the thermal design right, and you’ll see consistent performance and a lower cost per unit. We ship these worldwide, and every batch meets the same specs. If you want a lamp that performs like the big brands but comes with a factory-direct price, this is the one to spec out.
